I am a retired R.N. that worked at the Janeway for 40 years. I self taught crocheting about 40 years ago and have continued to improve my skill. I also did some sewing over the years. Upon retirement in 2019 I fulfilled a dream of mine and did a quilting course at East Coast Quilt co. and thus discovered a real passion. I love the craft and have built up many items over the pass three years. I mostly enjoy creating baby items. A specific enjoyment of mine is making small quilts that fit nicely in a car seat and that don’t drag down to get caught in the wheels of strollers. As well I create crib size quilts, baby bibs, placemats, table runners and have done larger quilts. I use 100% cotton fabrics for all projects and 100% cotton batting in the quilts.. I still crochet as well and in addition to a variety of baby items , crochet adult hats. I truly enjoy what I do, take pride in creating products of great workmanship, and continue to learn more techniques to further improve my skill.
