Judy Cooper is an award-winning textile artist/teacher whose work has been on exhibit nationally and internationally. x A variety of yarns, glittery threads, hand dyed fabrics, and other fabrics are stitched, needle felted or embroidered by hand or sewing machine, to create Landscapes and Seascapes, Reversible Fibre Art scarves, Wearable Art Pins, Card Cases and Fibre Art Pendants. Her wearable art pieces, by virtue of their construction process, are each unique in colour, texture and composition. Judy is a juried member of Craft Nova Scotia and the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador. Her Fibre Lace Scarves and Landscapes / Seascapes have been in several juried, gallery shows. Several large, framed landscapes are in the Newfoundland archives as well as the City of St. John’s and in private collections.
