I was born in Guyana, South America with a Russian and Indo-Caribbean bloodline. My early years were spent in Montreal and Toronto where I studied graphic design at George Brown College and printmaking at The Ontario College of Art. During a cross Canada trip in 1999, I discovered and fell in love with Newfoundland. I currently live and work in St John's, as an artist and educator, with my husband and fifteen year old son.
