Quebec native, Michael began working with stained glass at a young age. Self taught, his passion for manipulating light and colour through glass is ongoing today. Michael owned and operated “The Glass Menagerie de Verre” studio in Quebec for over 40 years and was a longstanding member of a Quebec based studio tour “La Tournee des 20” Inspired by the beauty of Newfoundland, Michael began creating unique pieces using his wife’s photography, Karen Smith, as an inspiration for his recent collection
