Ho Him Mok is a Hong Kong-based artist in Newfoundland, where he was a BFA student in the Visual Art Program at Grenfell, Memorial University. He mainly focuses on a range of digital art, including light photography, Japanese style illustration, and film. Mok’s art practice is influenced by his Asian background and study abroad experience over Canada, the UK and Japan during the fourth year of his BFA program. He enjoys creating art with his observation of the world and integrates his thoughts on the human form to create his own delusional world. Mok created an oil painting entitled “Enjoy Your Dream” (2017) for the group exhibition at the Grenfell Art Gallery and a cross-media installation art “Three Stage” (2019) exhibited in the Gatehouse Arts Harlow, the UK. He will never be satisfied with the status quo or stop exploring the frantic world.
