I began rug hooking 15 years ago after retirement from a Family Grocery Business. My mother in law taught me her method that she had learned from her Mother, which was to use any material that was available at that time.. I continue to design and hook in that style and even though I have hooked a number of the same design, each is different in their own unique way. I hook from my Memories and stories told to me about living in Rural Newfoundland; each is related to those memories,. I am a Juried Member of the NL Craft Council.
