Pottery Introduction to Wheel Throwing I

During this introductory course, participants will learn about the properties of clay, how to wedge clay for throwing, and practice centering clay in order to attempt to throw a piece. Students will have the opportunity to glaze their finished projects with the in-house studio glazes. Throwing looks easy however it takes time to master. No previous experience with clay necessary, so take the first step toward mastery in this introductory course. The theme of this course is practice, practice, practice!
